The RazAir™ home vent has been a proven product since it was introduced in 2000. The reason is its superior ventilation performance and the ABS plastic construction with ultraviolet inhibitors
which go into the RazAir™ vent, providing many years of service. RazAir™ vents can be painted to match the color of the home. The model with damper
may be kept open to provide ventilation to the crawl space or in times of severe weather, they are easily closed.

Vent Performance Analysis
The RazAir™ vent was independently tested against the standard metal vent for ventilation performance. Results indicated up to a 17% greater air flow due to less resistance across the face of the RazAir™ vent, resulting in more critical crawl space ventilation. Result: RazAir™ vents are better!
Why Ventilation Is Important
Foundation vents are important in insuring the crawl space beneath a structure has a way to properly vent moisture, radon gas (in areas indicated by the state health authority), off-gassing from chemically treated wood etc.
Moisture build-up may encourage mold growth under the home, elevated radon gas increases lung cancer risk and off-gassing from treated lumber may cause reactions in sensitive individuals.

The RazAir™ Story
RazAir™ foundation vents were invented by a licensed contractor with over 45 years of general contracting
and construction experience who was frustrated by the poor choices he had for crawl space foundation vents. He was getting too many
complaints from new homeowners who were calling him back to replace metal vents that bent or broke
when opened or closed. He believed a better product could be developed for the homeowner. The RazAir™ vent is the result, and a favorite with Northern Nevada builders.
